• This is the Research and Development phase when we learn what the client’s needs and desires are, and start discussing space layouts, preliminary style changes and furniture and furnishing requirements.
  
• Review scope of project(s) with client to include design needs, preferences, budget, and preliminary timeline.
  
• Review existing floor plan to determine potential challenges with construction, furniture placement, space planning in general.
  
• Determine wall and other surface finishes.
  Determine flooring selections, tile, stone, carpeting etc.
  
• Review lighting plan and any wiring issues that may need to be considered in the space planning process.
  
• Determine style of plumbing fixtures as appropriate.
  
• Determine window treatment needs as appropriate.
  
• Determine electronic or security needs as appropriate.
